Anthony Garcia, age 74, of Patterson, NY, died Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at 
his home, after a long battle with cancer.  Mr. Garcia was born in Brooklyn, NY 
on February 23, 1934.  He served in the Navy during the Korean War.  Mr. Garcia was 
the owner of Putnam Lake Blacktopping.  A resident of Patterson since age 3, 
Anthony Garcia enjoyed both hunting and working.  When he wasn't working hard 
on the job, he was enjoying the great outdoors with family and friends.  Anthony 
was quick witted and you could always count on him to make you laugh.  He is 
survived by his wife of 52 yrs., 6 children, 12 grandchildren and two great-grandsons.
